Who does not have a learner driver's permit license.
■ What should I bring for Samezu center ?
1, Foreigner registration card.
2, Passport.

1, Take the aptitude test
Eyesight
0.3 or better in each eye, and 0.7 or better
for both eyes.
Color recognition
Able to recognize red, green and yellow.
Hearing ability
Able to hear ordinary conversation.

2, Obtain a learner driver's permit .
Take the written test. (30min) Answer at
least 45 out of 50 questions correctly on
the written driving knowledge examination.

Take the driving skills exam at a course
set up at Samezu course. (1,650yen)

Who has a learner driver's permit license
3, Practice using a learner driver's permit on
general road. Practice driving at general
road for 10 hours in at least five days
within a three month period.

4, Take the aptitude test again. (If you already
have a learner driver's permit license. )
↓
5, Take the final written test. (50min) Answer
at least 90 out of 95 questions correctly on
the written driving knowledge examination.

6, The applicant must have practiced on the
road (at least 5 days or more - 10 hours)
prior to the day of driving test and be
documented on the road practice report.
Take the final driving skills exam at a course
set up at Samezu center or Fuchu center.
